Healthy starts small. Simply. At the source. With smarter building blocks drawn from the foundation of nature’s food chain, we feed our bodies, our lives, our communities and the world we share. This ecosystem of plants, people and planet is the fluid reflection of all we bring together and build on, day in and day out. For the good of all.
iWi (pronounced EE-wee) is sustainable nutrition made from algae. As Earth’s original superfood, algae is naturally nutrient-rich. It gives us clean protein and and omega-3s that our bodies absorb more easily than traditional forms of omega-3s, like fish or krill oil.
Harvested on sustainable farms and grown in brackish water, iWi’s proprietary strain of algae is grown in barren desert communities, providing jobs and invigorating communities in Texas and New Mexico. And unlike fish or krill oil, iWi’s algae is grown and harvested without negative environmental impact on our fragile oceans and sealife.
Today, iWi can be found on shelves as supplements. Tomorrow, we’ll see iWi in all forms of nutrition—protein bars, shakes, oils, even as an ingredient brand.
We put our hearts into this startup brand, revealing the beauty in their science by focusing on iWi’s purpose: Together we create sustainable food solutions for everyone on our planet.
